Track page views with Google Analytics
If you would like to track page views of your events and learn more about your customers and the traffic you are getting to your events, you can do so by integrating with Google Analytics.
To integrate Corsizio with Google Analytics, follow these steps:
STEP 1: Go to the account Settings and select Integrations from the left-side menu.
STEP 2: Check the box Google Analytics Integration to enable this option and provide the required Tracking ID in the form of G-XXXXXXX or UA-XXXXXX-X.
STEP 3: Scroll down to Save integrations before leaving this area.
This integration will track page views for all public pages and forms using Google Analytics.
How it works with Corsizio
When you provide the Tracking ID, Corsizio will start sending data to it. Be sure to configure your Tracking ID to accept data from our domain "corsizio.com" so that the tracking works properly.
Besides page view tracking, Corsizio will send Google Analytics tracking events every time the "Thank you" screen appears after a successful registration. One is a custom tracking event that will have the category "Attendees" and the action "registration". If you are setting up goal conversion tracking within Google Analytics, you can use this custom event tracking data sent from Corsizio to know when a registration happened successfully within your account. The other tracking event sent is the e-commerce "purchase" event on Google Analytics, which will populate some monetization revenue metrics accordingly.
NOTE — Corsizio cannot provide any support for setting up your Google Analytics or any help generating reports on Google Analytics. If you choose to use the Google Analytics service, you need to refer to their help docs and be well-versed in their platform. From our end, all that is possible is what is described in this help doc.
