Accepting online payments
Corsizio provides you with the ability to collect both offline and online payments on registrations for your events. Refer to this article for help with online payments and to the offline payment article for help with those.
NOTE — In order to accept online payments, you must first connect a bank account to Corsizio via Stripe, as this is how you will be paid directly.

How to accept online card payments
STEP 1: From your Corsizio dashboard, go to Step 2 – Pricing & Payment of the event that you want to accept online payments.
STEP 2: Turn on the toggle to "Enable online card payments". This will allow your customers to pay with the credit card of their choice when registering to your event.

STEP 3: Be sure to Save & Exit or proceed to the next event step.
NOTE — Online payments will also take into account any other features that you enable as part of Step 2 — Pricing & Payment, including early-bird pricing, deposit payments, coupons, add-ons, multiple price categories, and volume discounts. You can also enable both online and offline payments on the same event.
How to add manual card payments
In addition to any online card payments that your event registrants automatically make when they are registering for your event, you can also add manual card payments to their registration. This can happen if you provided the offline payment option and the attendee prefers to call you and give you their credit or debit card number over the phone. To enter this information and add it to their registration, follow these steps:
STEP 1: From your Corsizio dashboard, locate the attendee registration that you need to add a payment. You can do this in one of several ways: use the search bar to find the attendee by name (easiest), search for the attendee from within your attendees' list, or lookup the attendee from within the event that they are registered to.
STEP 2: Open the attendee's registration panel and select the Payment tab, where you will find the option to Add a new payment.

STEP 3: Fill in the information for the New manual payment.
- This may include the amount you will be charging, which may be different from the total event cost, an optional payment description, and the payment card details.
- Since it is an online card payment, you will want to have "Process Card Payment Now" selected as the method of payment.
- You have the option to check the box "Send the payment receipt to..." so that your customer is notified of the transaction and has a receipt for their records.
- You also have the option to check the box "Send me a copy of the receipt to..." so that you have a copy of the transaction record, if needed.

STEP 4: Select "Process payment of..." to complete the transaction.
NOTE — Every time a full or partial manual payment is added or refunded, you have the option to have the system send out a receipt to your customer. The receipt will detail everything related to any payments made for that attendee's registration to the event, as they have been applied to date.
How online payments show on registration forms

NOTE — For optimum security, Corsizio does not save your customers' payment card data. If your event allows deposit payments, your customer will need to enter their payment card number again when they pay the balance owing. The same applies if you are adding manual payments for your customer or you need to charge them anything extra, on top of their registration fee. You will need to ask for their payment card details and handle them with utmost security.
How online payments show on receipt emails
A confirmation receipt email is automatically sent to every event registrant that registers online to your event or pays a balance owing using the link in their confirmation receipt email. Here is an example of what such an email would look like:

Common questions about online payments
What currencies can I accept?
- You can learn all about this by reading Currencies accepted for online payments.
Can I accept other online payment methods, like PayPal?
- In an effort to keep our service as simple, effective, and efficient as possible for everyone, Corsizio does not use other payment processors, aside from Stripe to process credit and debit card payments. This means that our infrastructure does not support other services like PayPal, Authorize.net, Square, and many others. However, you can continue to use any of these payment gateways for any of your other needs, and still have Corsizio using Stripe deposit your funds in the same bank account as your other gateways.
How can I track the exact funds I receive from my customers and my bank payouts?
- You need to log in to your Stripe account, as Stripe processes all your payment transactions and bank payouts — not Corsizio. When you log in to your Stripe dashboard, it will let you know when your next bank payout will be and show you all your payment transactions. Be sure to pay attention to the bank payout schedule you configured in your Stripe account, as well as any Stripe messages related to pending requirements that may be impacting your bank payouts.
How do I get tax forms about my income from online payments for my annual returns?
- You need to log in to your Stripe account, as Stripe processes all your payment transactions — not Corsizio. If you are eligible for any tax forms, they will be located in your Stripe account. If you have any questions about tax forms, please refer to Stripe's help and support.
